“I couldn’t pursue my education properly for financial constraints. My name was taken off the roll thrice at the secondary level. Even then, I’m the finance minister of a country like Bangladesh. Allah has blessed me with all of this for my honesty and sincerity,” he said.
The minister was addressing the freshers’ reception and reunion-2020 of Cumilla Students’ Association at the JU.
Addressing the students, he expressed the hope that they will always work for the country being on the path of truth.
Mustafa Kamal reiterated that the economy of Bangladesh will surpass that of Malaysia and Singapore by 2024.
