Dhaka, July 17 (UNB)— Female students have achieved better results compared to their male counterparts in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations.
A total of 6,33,629 females took part in the exam and secured 76.44 percent passing rate whereas 7,03,000 male took part in the exam and got 71.67 percent under 10 education boards this year, according to press release.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina appreciated the results and said, “The results are sufficiently acceptable and good.”
A total of 988,172 candidates among 13,36,629 students cleared the tests and 47,286 students achieved highest grade GPA 5.
