In a recent reshuffle, 19 police officers, including the Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP), were transferred on Thursday.
The Home Ministry has issued an order in this regard.
DIG Md Nisharul Arif has been made the new commissioner of SMP.
