He came up with the remarks while talking to reporters after a meeting of the senior leaders of the alliance at Moudud Ahmed’s Motijheel chamber.
Fakhrul, however, said they will not announce any such programme which may hamper their scheduled talks with the Prime Minister on Wednesday morning.
He said their meeting welcomed Kader Siddiqui for joining the Oikyafront and decided to include his party in the alliance.
Besides, he said, they talked about their possible discussions to be held with the Prime Minister during the talks.
The meeting expressed shock at the death of BNP standing committee member Tariqul Islam.
It also condemned the attack on Barrister Mainul Hosein under police custody at Rangpur court and demanded his release.
BNP standing committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, JSD president Abdur Rob, vice-president Tania Rob, general secretary Abdul Malek Ratan, Gono Forum leaders Mostafa Mohsin Montu, Subrata Chowdhury, Jatiya Oikya Prokriya’s Sultan Mansur and ABM Mostafa Amin were present at the meeting.

“The DMP authorities have given us permission on different conditions to hold the rally tomorrow (Tuesday) at Suhrawardy Udyan,” BNP publicity affairs secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anne told UNB.
The BNP leader said DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia gave the permission as he along with the party’s two other leaders met him at his office around 11:30am.
On Friday, BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, on behalf of the Oikyafront, announced the programme at a press conference at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office, aiming to push for its seven-point demand ahead of the 11th parliamentary elections.
It will be the third rally of the Oikyafront as the alliance held rallies in Sylhet and Chattogram on October 24 and 27 respectively.
The rally is going to be held hours before the Oikyafront leaders’ second phase of small-group talks with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The dialogue will be held at Ganobhaban at 11am on Wednesday.
Oikyafront leaders said they will give some important messages for the nation from the rally ahead of the national election.
