A virtual discussion meeting and Doa Mahfil was held Saturday afternoon, commemorating the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the martyrs of the Liberation War.
Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) organized the meeting where former Industries Minister and senior AL leader Amir Hossain Amu were present as key discussants. said a press release.
Private Sector Industry and Investment Adviser to Prime Minister Salman Fazlur Rahman, and former FBCCI President Md Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin were also present as special discussants at the event.
The speakers recalled the contribution of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in nation building and noted that the nation would not be in its current prosperous state if Bangabandhu was not there.
The nation will never be able to repay this debt for what he has done for it, they added.
FBCCI President Sheikh Fazle Fahim chaired the meeting while former FBCCI President MA Kashem, Mahbubur Rahman, Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, Mir Nasir Hossain, AK Azad and Abdul Matlub Ahmed were also present among others.
Some 200 eminent personalities including FBCCI vice-presidents, directors, presidents of district chambers and associations, and general bodies also participated the programme.
