A college teacher suffering from fever and respiratory complications died while undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Kabir Ahmed, 50, associate professor of Rajshahi Government Mahila College, who was admitted to RMCH on July 28.
RMCH Deputy Director Dr Saiful Ferdous said his samples were collected for a coronavirus test, but he died before his results came back.
