A bench of Justice JBM Hassan and Justice Md Khairul Alam passed the order after hearing an appeal filed by the writ petitioner.
The court also asked the Health Secretary to mention in the report the progress on formulating a policy for running private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres.
The court set March 7 for the next hearing in this regard.
Lawyer of the petitioner Barrister Dr Bashir Ahmed said on July 24 last year, the court directed for fixing fees of health tests at private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres and hanging the charge list in public and establishing CCUs and ICUs at the district level.
The court had asked for taking the help of mobile court in this regard if necessary and forming a policy as per the Medical Practice and Private Clinics and Laboratories (Regulation) Ordinance, 1982 and form a body with specialists within 60 days for its implementation.
