She made the announcement while responding to a tabled stared question from BNP MP Harunur Rashid in Parliament.
The minister said the process is on to start unified admission test system in all public universities.
She said as per the government’s plan, steps have been taken to hold unified admission tests in all agricultural universities or agriculture education-based universities. "The admission tests will be taken on November 30 next," she said.
These universities are Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and Patuakhali Science and Technology University.
Currently, there are 45 public universities in the country.
