Dhaka, May 31 (UNB)- Three players secured maximum 4 points each in the ongoing Walton Amateur International Rating Chess Tournament (Open) 2019 at the National Sports Council old building on Friday.

They are- CM Subrota Biswas, Jabed Al Azad and Sk Rashedul Hasan.

CM Subrota Biswas beat Jewel Khan, Jabed Al Azad beat Din Mohammad and Sk Rashedul Hasan defeated Mohammed Enayet Hossain.

On the other hand, five players shared the second slot with 3.5 points each.

They are - Mohammad Yousuf, Feroz Ahmed, Md Sariatullah, Saimon Siddiqur Rahman and Mohammad Manik

Among them, Mohammad Yousuf drew with Md Jamal Uddin, Feroz Ahmed beat CM Sohel Chowdhury, Mohammad Manik beat Nayan Kumar Mohanto, Saimon Siddiqur Rahmanbeat Manoj Kumar Dhar and Md Sariatullah defeated Yasin Arafat.

The fifth round games will be played on Saturday from 10am at the same venue.
