Dhaka, Sep 23 (UNB) – Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first against Afghanistan in a crucial Super-Four stage of the 14th Asia Cup at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza-led Bangladesh brought Nazmul Islam and Imrul Kayes in to replace pace bowler Rubel Hossain and all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain respectively.
Afghanistan called Samiullah Shenwari to replace Najibullah Zadran.
Bangladesh best XI: Liton Kumar Das, Nazmul Shanto, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Imrul Kayes, Mohammad Mithun, Mahsrafe Mortaza (captain), Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mustafizur Rahman and Nazmul Islam.
