Dhaka, Sep 14 (UNB)- Bangladesh Women’s Juniors Hockey team suffered a 0-6 goals defeat against Uzbekistan in the six-nation Women’s Juniors (U-21) AHF Cup Hockey Qualifiers in Singapore on Saturday.
Zulfiyakhon Khasanboeva made a hat-trick scoring three goals in the 2nd, 15th and 54th minutes for Uzbekistan while Gulrukh Ramazonova netted twice in the 30th and 45th minutes while Sabina Adizova scored one in the 17th minute.
Bangladesh will play their last match against Chinese Taipei on Sunday.
Earlier, Bangladesh Women’s Hockey team earned their historical maiden win in the international hockey beating Sri Lanka by 2-0 goals in their 2nd match on Tuesday after conceding a 0-3 goals defeat against hosts Singapore in the first match last Monday.
In their third match of the meet, Bangladesh conceded 0-1 goal defeat against Hong Kong in China on Thursday.
