Sunamganj woman diagnosed with coronavirus
A 25-year-old woman from Sunamganj tested positive for coronavirus on Monday morning.
The sample from the woman, hailing from the sadar upazila, was tested at MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital on Sunday and the report came out positive, said Sushanto Kumar Mohapatro, resident medical officer of the hospital.
Later, the woman was sent to the hospital, he said.
A total of 91 samples were tested on Sunday and one of them was found to be positive.
Earlier, a coronavirus patient was detected in Doarabazar in Sunamganj on Saturday.

Chattogram reports 2nd coronavirus death
A minor boy died from coronavirus at Chattogram General Hospital early Monday, taking the death toll to two in the district.
The deceased was identified as Ashraful Alam, 6, son of Oman-returnee Khalilur Rahman Prokash, a resident of Haidgaon union in Patiya upazila.
Chattogram Civil Surgeon Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said the boy was diagnosed with coronavirus on Saturday. He was taken to the hospital around 2:10am where he died around 2:30am.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation Monday evening ahead of Pahela Boishakh 1427.
"The Prime Minister will address the nation at 7:30pm on the occasion of the Pahela Boishakh (Bengali New Year)," PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB.
State-owned Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television will simultaneously broadcast the Prime Minister’s address, he said.

Accused flees from Jashore coronavirus isolation unit
An accused, who was admitted to Jashore General Hospital with fever and cold, fled from the coronavirus isolation unit on Sunday night.
Sujon Mallik, alias Shakil, 27, is accused in a case filed under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
Hospital and police sources said Shakil was taken to court around 7pm on March 10 from jail. As he fell sick, he was sent to the hospital.
He was later transferred to the isolation unit.
The accused fled from hospital around 9:30pm breaking grills of the window, said medical officer Arif Ahmed.
Towhidur Rahman, additional superintendent of police (special branch), said they are conducting drives to arrest the accused.
