Dhaka, Nov 21 (UNB) – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will observe its 14th founding anniversary on Thursday with a call to raise voice against corruption across the country.
The national anti-graft agency has chalked out various programmes marking its anniversary.
In the morning, ACC Chairman Iqbal Mahmood will inaugurate a shop (Satota store) at Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BENBEIS) in the city.
Around 3pm, a discussion programme over the activities of ACC will be held at its head office where its chairman will be the chief guest.
The ACC was formed on November 21 in 2004 as per the Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2004.
The ACC day will be observed on Thursday instead of Wednesday as it was the national holiday of Eid-e-Miladunnabi.
