Two people, including a female pharmacist of Daudkandi Upazila Health Complex, were diagnosed with coronavirus on Saturday in Cumilla.
Health officials said the other patient is from Meghna upazila.
Meghna Upazila Health Officer Dr Md Jalal Hossain said they have been providing treatment to those who tested positive in the upazila.
Daudkandi Upazila Health Officer Dr Shahinul Alam Sumon said the 40-year-old female pharmacist is staying at the health complex’s quarter.
Both cases were confirmed on Saturday, the health officials said, adding that their samples were collected on Wednesday.

According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, 32 people have tested positive for the virus as of Saturday afternoon.
Bangladesh has so far reported 84 deaths and 2,144 cases of coronavirus.
