District and Session’s Judge Md Atabullah passed the order following petitions filed by some of the accused, including the BNP chief, seeking time, said Khaleda’s lawyer Advocate Quaimul Haque Rinku.
Eight people were killed and at least 20 others injured in a petrol bomb attack on a bus at Jagmohanpur in Chouddagram upazila on February 3, 2015 during the BNP-led alliance's movement.
Two cases were filed against 56 people, including Khaleda Zia, in this connection.
On October 9, 2017, Mohammad Ibrahim, sub-inspector and also the investigation officer of the case, submitted a charge-sheet against 78 people, including Khaleda, in the case.
Later, the name of BNP leader MK Anwar was dropped after his death.
On September 12, District and Session’s Judge M Ali Akbar fixed July 31 for passing an order on confiscating the property of the absconding accused in an arson case.
