ICT department launched the App as a pilot project, said a press release on Thursday.
Letters signed by Labour and Employment Ministry ICT cell Programmer Ariful Haque have been sent to all the officers and employees of the Ministry, the Department of Inspection of Factories and Establishments under the Ministry, Department of Labor, Bangladesh Workers Welfare Foundation, Central Fund, Minimum Wage Board, Head of Labor Appeal Tribunal, said the release.

According to the letter, the ICT department has launched 'Corona Tracer BD App' for the citizens to prevent the spread of coronavirus across the country.
The app will try to identify corona positive people and if someone comes close to the infected people, he will receive an alert message in his smartphone.
