Dhaka, Oct 29 (UNB)– After losing the three-match T20 series 0-2, Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket team will play hosts Pakistan Women’s in the 3rd and last T20 match on Wednesday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to avoid an embracing whitewash.
Touring Bangladesh went down in the T20 series after suffering a 14-run defeat in the first match on Saturday despite a four-wicket haul by Jahanara Alam and a half century by Rumana Ahmed.
They lost the series after conceding 15-run defeat in the 2nd match on Monday at the same venue, despite making their ever-highest T20 total 152.
Pakistani skipper Bismah Maroof played an anchor role to win the matches and was adjudged player of the match in both the T20 engagements.
Visiting Bangladesh Women’s team will also play a two-match one-day series on November 2 and 4 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
