Likee launches exciting campaigns to celebrate Independence Day
Popular short video creation and sharing app Likee has arranged a number of exciting campaigns that will continue from March 19-26, 2021, for the users on the occasion of Independence Day to be celebrated on March 26.

In the #DeshKeJano challenge involves national knowledge Q & A Sticker, there are generic statements related to sports, geography, liberation war, and celebrities of Bangladesh, which can be answered in ‘This’ or ‘That’ format. With every statement, there are two options - false or true. Once participants are done with one statement, the next statement will pop up. In this way, they will keep on answering as much as they can within 15-30 seconds at best.
The #RoarLikeTiger campaign will involve AI Face + Tiger Training. Users can take photos with virtual tigers. When users open their mouths, they will trigger the effect of ‘tiger opens their mouths + user’s aiface’ to finish the photos.

The #IndependenceDay2021 challenge, which is a short drama competition inspired by the awareness message “Do not misuse your freedom”. As part of the competitition, users can make short drama focusing on instances of misuse of freedom to raise awareness among users to make the most responsible use of freedom.
As part of the #ShadhinNach challenge, users can select a patriotic song, get dressed in red and green, and perform a dance routine in an appropriate and respectful manner. This will add the fun element to the whole range of activities.

Bongo to release Liberation War based film 'Noybeddya' on Independence Day
Bongo, Bangladesh’s first and largest Bangla content video streaming platform, will launch the worldwide digital premiere of the web film 'Noybeddya' on the Independence Day on March 26.
Based on 1971 Liberation War for Bangla speaking audiences around the world, the story of 'Noybeddya' centres around the rescue of a woman who was trapped by Pakistani soldiers during the War of Liberation, and the life struggle of her child in the post-war society.
From the story written by Shyamal Chandra and the screenplay written by Mannan Hera, 'Noybeddya' is jointly directed by Shabdik Shahin and Shehanur Rahman Asif.

Popular actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha has played the role of Birangana in the film, while the other characters are projected by noted actors including Tariq Anam Khan, Hasan Imam, Deepak Karmakar, Saika Ahmed, Shahajan Samrat and Raunak Hasan, in a special role.
“Bangladesh is about to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of our great Independence Day. A festive atmosphere is already prevailing in Bangladesh, but since it is Bangladesh’s Golden Jubilee, a little more dimension has been added to the festival,” Bongo said in a press release on Tuesday.
