Barishal division logs 854 new Covid cases
Barishal division on Wednesday morning recorded as many as 854 fresh Covid cases and 13 more deaths in 24 hours.
Of the new Covid cases in the division, some 288 were identified in Barisal district alone, health officials said.

So far, 13,265 people have been infected with Covid in the district. And some 31,428 Covid cases have been identified in the division to date.
Of the 13 deceased, five were confirmed Covid patients while the remaining had symptoms of the virus, the officials said.
Of them, 10 died at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH) and one each in Barishal, Jhalokhathi and Pirojpur districts.
Divisional Health Director Dr Basudev Kumar Das said that 442 patients have died of Covid-19 in the division so far.

According to SBMCH authorities, 58 more patients have been admitted to the hospital in the past 24 hours.
Moreover, 123 Covid patients are currently undergoing treatment at the corona unit of SBMCH and 168 in the isolation ward of the hospital.
Barishal division logs 20 Covid deaths
Barishal division has logged as many as 20 new Covid deaths in the past 24 hours, health officials said on Tuesday morning.
Of the deceased, nine were confirmed Covid patients while the remaining 11 showed symptoms of the virus.

Of the 20, some 16 died at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH) alone, the officials said.
Divisional Health Director Dr Basudev Kumar Das said that 437 patients have died of Covid-19 in the division so far.
Besides, 822 people have tested positive for Covid in six districts of Barishal division in the past 24 hours.

Of the fresh Covid cases in the division, 293 have been identified in Barisal district alone.
Some 30,574 active patients have been identified in the division to date, and 17,520 of them have recovered.
According to SBMCH authorities, 46 more patients have been admitted to the hospital in 24 hours till Tuesday morning.

Besides, 257 Covid patients are currently undergoing treatment at the corona unit of SBMCH.
Barishal division logs 20 new Covid deaths
Barishal division has logged as many as 20 new Covid deaths in the past 24 hours, health officials said on Friday morning.
Of the deceased, seven were confirmed Covid patients while the remaining 13 showed symptoms of the virus.
Of them, 15 died at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH), two each in Pirojpur and Jhalokathi, and one in Patuakhali.
Divisional Health Director Dr Basudev Kumar Das said that 414 patients have died of Covid-19 in the division so far.

Besides, 183 people have tested positive for Covid in six districts of Barishal division in the past 24 hours.
Of the fresh Covid cases in the division, 109 have been identified in Barishal district alone. So far, 11,953 people have been infected with Covid in the district.
Some 27,995 active patients have been identified in the division to date, and 17,520 of them have recovered.
According to SBMCH authorities, 52 more patients have been admitted to the hospital in 24 hours till Friday morning.
Besides, 277 Covid patients are currently undergoing treatment at the corona unit of SBMCH.

As many as 13 more people have died at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH) in Barisal in the past 24 hours, health officials said on Thursday morning.
Of the deceased, three were confirmed Covid patients while the remaining 10 showed symptoms of the virus.

Divisional Health Director Dr Basudev Kumar Das said that 368 patients have died of Covid-19 in the division so far. Besides, 500 people have tested positive for Covid in the division in the past 24 hours.
Of the 500 fresh Covid cases in the division, 192 have been identified in Barisal district alone. So far, 10,498 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the district.
On Tuesday, the division recorded the highest single-day Covid cases at 879.

So far, some 24,596 Covid patients have been identified in the division and 16,600 of them have recovered.
According to SBMCH authorities, 54 more patients have been admitted to the hospital in the past 24 hours. Besides, 279 Covid patients are currently undergoing treatment at the corona unit of SBMCH.

Barishal division has logged as many as 19 new Covid deaths in the past 24 hours, health officials said on Wednesday morning.
Of them, 13 died at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH), two in Patuakhali and four in Barguna.

Besides, 533 people have tested positive for Covid in the division in the past 24 hours, the officials said.
Of the 533 fresh Covid cases in the division, 202 have been identified in Barisal district alone. So far, 10,306 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the district.
On Tuesday, the division recorded the highest single-day Covid cases at 879.

So far, some 24,096 active patients have been identified in the division and 16,391 of them have recovered.
Divisional Health Director Dr Basudev Kumar Das said that 365 patients have died of Covid-19 in the division so far.

According to SBMCH authorities, 37 more patients were admitted to the hospital in 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
Besides, 259 Covid patients are currently undergoing treatment at the corona unit of SBMCH.
Barishal Division logs record 22 Covid deaths in a day
Barishal logged 22 new Covid deaths in 24 hours till Monday morning, the division's highest single-day fatalities this year, said divisional health department authorities.
Among them, 19 died at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH), two in Barguna and one in Jhalokathi.

Besides, 575 people were infected with the deadly virus during this period.
Among the 575 fresh Covid cases in the division, 216 Covid cases have been identified in Barisal district alone. So far, 9,612 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the district.
On Sunday, the division recorded the highest single-day Covid cases at 710.

So far, some 22,684 patients have been identified in the division to date and 15,938 of them have recovered.
Divisional Health Director Dr Basudev Kumar Das said 352 patients have died of Covid-19 in the division so far.

According to SBMCH authorities, 47 more patients were admitted to the hospital in 24 hours till Monday morning.
Besides, 307 covid patients are currently undergoing treatment at the corona unit of the SBMCH.
Covid nightmare in Barisal division: Record caseload of 710 reported
Barisal logged 710 fresh Covid cases in 24 hours till Sunday morning, the division's highest single-day spike this year.
Among the 710 fresh Covid cases in the division, 211 infection cases have been identified in Barisal district alone. And so far, 9,396 people have been infected with Covid-19 in this district.

Besides, 13 more Covid-related deaths have been recorded in the Barisal division during the period.
Among them, eight died in Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH), two in Pirojpur and one each in Patuakhali, Barguna and Jhalokati.
Divisional Health Director Dr Basudev Kumar Das said 349 patients have died of Covid-19 in the division so far.

Some 69,959 patients have been identified in the division to date and 15,764 of them have recovered.
According to SBMCH authorities, 51 more patients were admitted to the hospital in 24 hours till Sunday morning.

Moreover, 298 covid patients are currently undergoing treatment in the corona unit of the SBMCH.
On Friday, local authorities imposed a ban on the admission of general patients to the SBMCH to ease the pressure on the hospital doctors.
