PRAN-RFL stands by another 11,000 families during pandemic
PRAN-RFL Group started distributing food items among more than 11,000 needy families in the third phase in ten districts including Dhaka.
The organization has started food distribution in the third phase under "PasheAsi Bangladesh" program as a part of its corporate social responsibility during the global epidemic of coronavirus, said a press release.
Nurul Afser, head of Corporate Brand at PRAN-RFL Group, said, “Under "Pashe Asi Bangladesh" programme, we’re providing food to 60,000 helpless and poor families who have become workless during the general holidays.”
Meanwhile, PRAN-RFL has set up an isolation unit at Amjad Khan Chowdhury Memorial Hospital in Natore to ensure treatment of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) infected patients, he added.
Besides, surgical masks, PPE, hand gloves, hand sanitizers and coronavirus sample collection booth have been donated to Director General of Health Services (DGHS) and 10 hospitals on behalf of the group, Chowdhury added.
