Chinese Premier congratulates Hasina
Dhaka, Jan 7 (UNB)- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Monday extended his heartiest congratulations to Bangladesh Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her taking oath as the prime minister for the third consecutive term.
“The Chinese premier sent a message congratulating Sheikh Hasina on swearing in as the prime minister for the third consecutive term,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.
In the message, he said, the Chinese premier hoped that the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened in the days to come.
Li Keqiang wished success of the prime minister as well as continued peace, progress and prosperity of Bangladesh.
The press secretary said Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli also greeted Sheikh Hasina for taking oath as the premier for the third consecutive term.
In a congratulatory message sent to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Nepalese premier wished her success as well as continued peace, progress and prosperity of Bangladesh.
