On Thursday, 26 Bangladesh citizens were killed while 12 others were injured in a gun attack reportedly by some human traffickers in Libya.
In a joint statement, members of CGCM came up with the demand and said the traffickers must be brought to justice without any delay.
Bangladesh should take help from international organisation, if needed in this regard, they said.
Human traffickers haver long been holding Bangladeshis hostage with promises of migrating to Europe, they said.
Taking the opportunity of ongoing civil war in Libya, the human traffickers have been active there and take an average Tk 3-4 lakh from each migrant, CGCM said.

Bangladeshis are kept hostages in the camps across the Libyan border near the Mediterranean and sent to Europe in small boats causing frequent accidents where Bangladeshis often lose lives, according to media reports, the Civil Society members said.
International organisations must take responsibilities so that no such lives of migrants are lost anymore, they said.
