The match became a formality as Bangladesh have already confirmed a place in the final against West Indies, which is slated to be played on May 17 at the Village, Dublin.
While Ireland have lost both of their matches against West Indies, Bangladesh came up victorious in their two battles against the Caribbean boys. The other match between Bangladesh and Ireland abandoned without the toss due to persistent rain.
However, the game is a rare chance for the Tigers to test their bench ahead of the World Cup.
Bangladesh made four changes in this match- Liton Das came to replace SoumyaSarkar, Moasaddek Hossain got a chance in the place of Mohammad Mithun, Mohammad Saifuddin came in for Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mustafizur Rahman overlooked to pave the way for Rubel Hossain.
