Dhaka, July 25 (UNB) – Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday said the recommendations for implementing the Ninth Wage Board will be sent to the cabinet and it will take the final decision once the Prime Minister returns home.
“We’ll send the recommendations to the cabinet. The cabinet will discuss it and the gazette will be issued once the final decision is taken. The decision will be taken after the return of the Prime Minister on August 5,” he said.
Quader was addressing a meeting of the cabinet committee formed to finalise the wage board 2018 on Thursday.
He said they have made realistic recommendations after discussions with the stakeholders.
Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzque, Industries Minister Nurul Mazid Mahmud Humayun, State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid attended the meeting held with Obaidul Quader in the chair.
