Islamic University, Aug 20 (UNB) - A day-long cleanliness campaign was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Tuesday aiming to destroy the breeding grounds of Aedes mosquitoes on the campus.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the event as the chief guest adjacent to Sheikh Hasina Hall area around 11:00am.
He urged the students to keep their campus clean.
IU pro-vice-chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman, treasurer Professor M Selim Toha, acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, former proctor and syndicate member Professor M Mahbubar Rahman, IUTA president Professor Kamal Uddin were also present on the occasion.
