Dhaka, Jul 2 (UNB)- A two-day 9th international conference on the Restructuring of the Global Economy (ROGE) will take place at the Said Business School of Oxford University on July 8.
The prestigious academic conference will be attended by academics, business practitioners and policy makers from thirty plus countries and is set to explore Business Corporate Governance and maritime dimension, globalization and threats.
Dr PR Datta, Executive chair of the Academy of Business and Retail Management (ABRM) in UK will chair the conference.
In the conference, rear admiral Khaled Iqbal, Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University of Bangladesh will deliver a keynote address entitled: Prospects and Potentials of Blue Economy- A Roadmap for the Developing Countries” with special reference to Bangladesh.
Other keynote speakers will be Prof. Fabrizio Pezzani of Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management of University of Bocconi in Italy; Professor Chris Bellamy, Professor Emirates of Maritime Security at the University of Greenwich in UK; Prof. Beheruz N. Sethna, Regents’ Professor of Business and President Emeritus of the University of West Georgia (UWG); Prof. Haiyan Wang, Dean of School of Management and E-Business, Zhejiang Gongshang University, China; Prof. David M J Graves, Managing Director of Anti-Fraud Consultants in UK, Prof. Dr Imbarine Bujang of Universiti Teknologi of Malaysia; Dr Martin Wright of Centre for Innovative Leadership Navigation (CILN) in UK.
9th International Conference on ROGE will be attended by over 130 participants and presentations from around the world, including University professors, academics and business professionals, student’s observers.
The ROGE Conference is an important platform for exchange of ideas which will be co-hosted by the Academy of Business and Retail Management (www.abrmr.com) and the School of Management and E-Business, Zhejiang Gongshang University in China.
