Brahmanbaria, Oct 14 (UNB) – Bilateral trade between Bangladesh and India through Akhaura land port will remain suspended for six days from October 15-20 in deference to Durga Puja, the largest festival in Hinduism.
The decision was taken on Sunday following an agreement between the two countries.
Trade will resume on October 21, said Shafiqul Islam, general secretary of Akhaura Land Port Export-Import Association.
