Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has expressed deep shock at the death of Dr SA Samad, former principal secretary to the prime minister and chairman of the then Board of Investment.
"SA Samad was my teacher and personally very close to me. He was a skilled administrator and educationist. His role in Bangladesh's Liberation War in 1971 will always be remembered," Dr Momen said in a condolence message.

Dr Samad, 79, died at his Baridhara residence on Wednesday afternoon.
The foreign minister extended deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members and sought the salvation of the departed soul.
