Islamic University, Mar 10 (UNB) - Shamimul Islam Sumon and Raihan Badsha Ripon have been elected the president and the secretary respectively of Rotaract Club of Islamic University in Kushtia on Sunday.

The election was held adjacent to Birshrestha Hamidur Rahman Auditorium of the university, sources of IU Rotaract Club said.

Former president of IU Rotaract Club and chief election commissioner M Morshed Habib announced the results while Tourism and Hospitality Management department lecturer and moderator of the club M Shoriful Islam Jewel, was also present.

The newly elected president and secretary, later, will form a full-fledged body, Morshed Habib said.
