Islamic University, Mar 5 (UNB)— The Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia suspended a section officer for violating the university’s rules and regulations on Tuesday.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the university’s efficiency and disciplinary committee with Vice-Chancellor Professor Rashid Askari in the chair, sources at IU registrar office said.
Oliur Rahman alias Setu worked as a section officer of Establishment Section. He was arrested with 20 Yaba pills from Baliapara village in Kushtia sadar on Monday.
Prof Askari issued the suspension order, IU acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif told UNB.
