On the fourth day of the Bongo Milon Nattya Utshav, the drama at Selim Al Deen Muktamancho drew big crowd.
Jahangirnagar Theater (Auditorium) organised the festival.
‘Nine Miles to Go’ was written by Ujjwal Chattopadhyay and directed by Jayasree Bhattacharya.
The story revolves around the revolution of Jatindranath Mukherjee who was known as ‘Bagha Jatin’.
The drama tried to capture the life of Bagha Jathin and his fighting strategy – how he formed the revolutionary organisation and how they trained up.
Suman Saha played the protagonist while Samrat Roy, Argha Roy, Soumya Bhattacharjee, Shinjanbasu, Tanmoy Karmocar, Madhusudan Chatterjee, Arnab Mukhrejee, Aaishik Thakur, Dipankar Bose, Sukanta Pal, Savan Jana, Bela Ghosh, Sulakshanasaha, Nisha Halder and many others played important characters.
On 28 February, ‘Rahu Chandaler Har’ will be staged by Arshinagar Theater at Selim Al Deen Muktamancho.
