The summit will be organised by the Commonwealth Youth Innovation Centre in partnership with the Commonwealth Youth Council and the Commonwealth Secretariat at Sunway University in Malaysia on November 16-18.
A good number of participants, including young leaders on the rise, entrepreneurs, social workers, industrial experts, government officials, social workers, and others from different countries of the world will join the summit.
Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland along with India's eminent scholar and environment activist Vandana Shiva, ministers from several countries, including Russia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Ethiopia, are expected to join the programme.
“It always gives me a sort of satisfaction to represent our country before the world. The Commonwealth authorities keep their confidence in me and I’ll try to reward them with all of my efforts and capabilities,” Soroj Mehedi, a lecturer of Language, Communication and Culture Department at Gono University, told UNB while expressing his feelings.
