Chattogram, Sept 23 (UNB) – Two people were killed following a collision among a car, a microbus and a parked CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Panchlaish in the port city early Sunday.
The deceased were identified as auto rickshaw driver Md Hanif, 40, son of Md Mostafa of Halishahar Brick Field area and car passenger Md Fardin, 18, son of Abul Bashar Milon of Nasirabad Batagoli area in the city.
The collision took place when a microbus coming down from ‘King of Chittagong’ club hit a car which was going towards the club and the auto-rickshaw was standing on the road, said Sub-inspector Jahirul Haque, in-charge of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) outpost, leaving the duo critically injured.
Later, the injured were rushed to the hospital where the duty doctors declared them dead, he added.
