Bagerhat, Oct 9 (UNB) – Police recovered the throat-silt body of a woman from Kagrabunia village in Chitalmari upazila on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shahida Begum, 55, son of Hekmat Ali Shikder.
Anukal Chandra Sarker, officer-in-charge of Chitalmari Police Station, said Shahida’s family members found her throat-silt body in the morning and informed the police.
Later, police recovered the body around 10 am and sent it to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Police suspected that Shahida might have been murdered over a land-related dispute.
