Doleshwar, who won the toss and decided to field first, have given away 301/8 runs in 50 overs against Prime Bank who have chased the big target successfully in 48.2 overs (302/5) and won the game by five wickets.
While batting first, Al Amin struck 111 off 99 balls with eight fours and four sixes to his credit. Along with him Sudip Chatterjee, the Indian recruit of Prime Bank, hit 57 to set a challenging total. Besides, Anamul Haque (28), Zakir Hasan (36) and Ariful Haque (28) also played their parts while batting.
Arafat Sunny, Farhad Reza and Shykat Ali bagged two wickets for Prime Doleshwar.
In reply, Saif Hassan (85), Marshall Ayub (76) and Saad Nasim (64) hit the fifties to win the game in a proper team spirit. Farhad Reza, the captain of Prime Doleshwar, also hit 35 off 15 balls to win the game.
Monir Hossain and Ariful Haque took two wickets each for Prime Bank, but their efforts were not enough to avoid a loss.
In the other match of the day, Gazi Group Cricketers beat Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) in Fatullah by four wickets.
BKSP posted 249/7 in 50 overs while batting first. Mahmudul Hasan Joy hit 85 with nine fours and one six for them to be the highest runs getter. Aminul Islam (63) also hit a fifty for BKSP. Besides them, Ratul Khan (34) and Shamim Hossain (44) contributed with the bat.
Abu Hider Rony and Kamrul Islam Rabbi took two wickets each for Gazi Group.
In reply, Touhid Tareq and Mehedi Hasan struck the fifties to win the game for Gazi. Touhid accumulated 76 with three fours and as many as three sixes while Mehedi struck 70 with nine fours and one six.
Besides them, Aub Hider struck 32 while Shamsur Rahman made 23 to ensure a win.
Hasan Murad took three wickets for BKSP and Mukidul Islam bagged two wickets for them, but failed to register a win.
