International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh maintained his joint lead in the Pavlodar Open Chess 2023, with other players securing the full two points after the 2nd round matches held in Pavlodar Province, Kazakhstan, on Monday.

In the day's second round, IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman played with white pieces to beat GM Sergey Tiviakov of the Netherlands.
