With the latest ones, the total number of Covid-19 patients in the district has reached 11.
Dr Nazmul Munir, a medical officer at the district civil surgeon’s office, said Dr Syeda Tasmina Tabassum, a physician at the Mirpur Health Complex, is among the newly identified patients.
The three other patients are from Daulatpur upazila, he added.
Civil Surgeon Dr HM Anwarul Islam said the residence of an ambulance driver of the hospital was put under lockdown to prevent any possible transmission.
A total of 43 samples were tested at the Kushtia General Hospital lab during the period and four of them were found to be infected with the deadly virus, he added.

Kushtia reported the first case on April 23. Currently, 3,053 people are maintaining home-quarantine in the district after they returned here from other districts, including Dhaka and Narayanganj.
Bangladesh has so for recorded 5,416 cases and 145 deaths from the deadly virus while the global death toll reached 202,832.
