The six villages are Adarsha Colony, Rasulpur, Bangalipara, Biharipara, Gucchagram and Bahadurpara in Jagannathpur union.
The villagers hoisted red flags and put bamboo fences at the entrances of the villages and are spreading disinfectant on the local roads.
Local administration sent five people in home quarantine as they arrived home from Narayanganj and Dhaka’s Adabor area on Tuesday with fever and throat ache.

Sadar Upaziala Nirbahi Officer Abdullah Al Mamun said the initiative is praiseworthy and it will protect the people of the area from coronavirus.
Thakurgaon Civil Surgeon Dr Mahfuzur Rahman said they have collected samples of two coronavirus suspects from Adarsha Colony and sent the samples to Rangpur for testing.
Bangladesh on Thursday reported one more death from the virus infection in the last 24 hours and 112 new cases, raising the number of confirmed cases to 330.
The global death toll from coronavirus reached 88,565 as of Thursday.
