Gopalganj, Feb 9 (UNB)- A female worker was killed after being hit by a motorcycle at Chechaniakandi area in the Sadar upazila on Saturday.

Police identified the victim as Seba Sarkar, 21, daughter of Biren Sarkar of Daldala village of Godagari Upazila of Rajshahi.

A motorcycle hit Seba while she was crossing the road around 12:30pm on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway, killing her on the spot, said Sub-Inspector Golam Kibria of Sadar Police Station.

The body was sent to the sadar hospital for autopsy.
