Jashore, Dec 11 (UNB) – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a suspected drug trader along with 1100 Yaba tablets from Ograbhulot border area in Sharsha upazila on Monday.

The arrestee was identified as Khairul Islam, 18, son of late Monir Hossain of the area.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of BGB raided a house in Khairul at noon and arrested him along with the Yaba tablets, said LT Col Imran Ullah Sarker, commanding officer of BGB-21 battalion.

Later, the arrestee was handed over to police.
