Bangladeshi IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman lost his first round match to GM Vakhidov Jokhongir of Uzbekistan in the Qatar Masters Open Chess 2023 that began on Wednesday (October 11) in the Qatar capital Doha.

The 2nd round matches started at 6 pm (BST) on Thursday where Fahad Rahman playing against Karamsetty Jeevan of USA.

A total of 158 players from 31 countries including 58 Grandmasters, 6 Women’s grandmasters and 56 International Masters are participating in the event.
