Bangladesh Women’s Handball team will play against defending champions India Women’s Handball team in the semifinals of Handball competition in the 13th South Asian Games on Saturday at Pokhara cover Hall in Nepal.
The match will kick-off at 11:30 am (BST).
In the day’s other semifinal, hosts Nepal will play against Pakistan at 9:15 am at the same venue.
Bangladesh Women’s Handball team reached semifinal eliminating Sri Lanka by 34-13 goals in their last group match on Friday.
Earlier, Bangladesh women’s team started their SA Games conceding a 24-26 goals defeat against hosts Nepal in their first group match on Thursday.
All-losers Bangladesh Men’s Handball team were eliminated from the Handball competition of ongoing regional meet after conceding 22-38 goals defeat against Maldives and 33-42 goals defeat against defending champions India in their group matches.
