Youth stabbed to death in Tongi
A 30-year-old man was stabbed to death and another one injured in an attack by rivals in Auchpara area of Gazipur's Tongi Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Kausar Ahmed Sumon alias Tanon, a resident of Tonger Deora area of Gazipur.
Locals said some miscreants stabbed Sumon and Tuhin indiscriminately near Merit School in Auchpara area of Tongi due to old enmity, leaving them critically injured.

They were rushed to Shaheed Ahsanullah Master General Hospital where doctors declared Sumon dead upon his arrival.
Later, Tuhin was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
Mohammad Iltutmish, deputy commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, said that he might have been killed over previous enmity.
"We are investigating the murder,” he said, adding that efforts are on to nab the culprits.
Youth stabbed to death in Dhaka
A young man was allegedly stabbed to death by assailants at Mirpur in Dhaka on Tuesday night.
The victim was identified as Zahid, 25, son of Md Hanif of Muslim Camp in the capital's Pallabi area. He was a fish trader by profession.
Two others who sustained injuries in the attack have been identified as Muhammad Kamran, 23, and Kamran, 21.

Police said the assailants attacked the three around 10.30pm in front of Mirpur Bangla School where they were waiting, leaving Zahid seriously injured.
Zahid was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), where doctors declared him dead around 12.15am.
The body has been kept at the hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Bachchu Mia, inspector at the DMCH police outpost.
Youth stabbed to death in Cumilla
A young man was stabbed to death at Kalakochua in Burichang upazila on Dhaka-Chattogram highway early Friday.
The deceased was identified as Billal Gazi, son of Sabuj Gazi in Narayansar village of the upazila.
Locals spotted the body and informed police in the morning.
Officer-in-charge of Burichang Police Station Mozammel Haque said the body which bore multiple stab marks was sent to Cumilla Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
