3 including father, daughter crushed under train in Chattogram
Chattogram, Oct 28 (UNB) – Three people including a man and his daughter, were killed and one person, the mother, was injured as a train’s engine compartment crashed into them in Sitakunda on Sunday night.
The deceased were identified as Abul Kashem, 45, his daughter Bibi Fatema, 13, and Shaidul Islam, 55, who worked at the local Abul Khair Still Mill, all residents of the same area here.
Mostafiz Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of Chattogram Railway Police Station, said the accident took place as a Dhaka-bound engine compartment hit them from behind while they were walking on the rail tracks around 8:15 pm.
