Benapole, Sept 21 (UNB) – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized 47,200 pieces of Indian medicine and 110 pieces of cotton sari from South Barpota area of Putkhali bordering point on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, a BGB team conducted a drive and recovered the contraband items from the area in the morning, said Imran Ullah, BGB-21 battalion director.
However, no one was arrested in this connection.
The price of the seized goods is worth Tk 15, 41,000, the official added.
