Jashore, Dec 25 (UNB) - Three local BNP leaders were picked up allegedly by the members of law enforcement agencies on Jashore-Magura highway in Pachbaria area when they were going for campaigning in favour of BNP candidate of Jashore-3 constituency on Tuesday.
The three leaders are Golam Reza Dulu, vice-president of the district unit BNP, Mohammad Nurunnabi, president of BNP Sadar upazila unit and Kamal Hossain Babu, Jubo Dal president of Fatehpur union.
Jashore-3 constituency BNP candidate Anindya Islam Amit at a press conference claimed that law enforcers intercepted their car with a bus and a truck on their road around 10am while he along with his men, including the three, was going for electioneering in the area.
Later, police picked up the three when BGB and Rab members were also present, he alleged.
