Gazipur, May 28 (UNB)— A protest by students of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) rolled into fifth day on Tuesday.
The students are demonstrating against fines and additional fees imposed by the university. They also want the authorities to accept their three-point demand.
A notice issued by the university on May 20 announcing fines over low class attendance triggered the protest two days later.
Students demonstrated in front of the administrative building on Tuesday boycotting classes and exams. They said the class boycott will continue on Wednesday as well.
