Dhaka, July 10 (UNB) – Uber, an international ride-sharing service, has recently launched a month-long road safety campaign in the country.
The campaign will involve different matters including engineering, emergency medical services, traffic laws, enforcement and public education, said a press release.
The campaign was kicked off through a video post by its brand ambassador and popular cricketer, Shakib Al Hasan.
Different initiatives including driver welfare program through free eye checkup and educational workshops, helmet distribution for Uber Moto drivers, and raising awareness on and off-ground to bolster overall safety of riders and drivers will be taken under campaign.
