Islamic University, Jul 14 (UNB) – The Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia suspended one of its officials for violating rules and regulations.
The decision was made at an emergency meeting of the university’s disciplinary committee with Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari in the chair.
Jahangir Alam, an assistant account director of IU Finance and Accounts section, was suspended as he was jailed by a court, IU acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif told UNB.
