A fire that broke out at the Shattola slum in Dhaka’s Mohakhali area early today has been doused.
The fire broke out at the slum around 6:48 am.
On information, nine firefighting units reached the spot at around 7 am, said Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters media cell.
The fire was brought under control at around 8:10 am and doused at 9:38 am.
No death or injuries have been reported so far in the fire.
